I just can't seem to stop knitting. I have finished 2 pairs of mitts. in the past week.
I made a quick pair of toddler mitts for a collection of warn hats and mitts for a local Woman's shelter.
These were made from the leftovers from a pair of lady's mitts.
After those finishes, I started a winter hat.
I know somebody who I think will enjoy the hat.
Meanwhile, I have started my holiday decorating, slowly. It took awhile to find the Advent Candles. I have LED candles, so the cats don't catch fire. After some searching some batteries were also found.
I also made mince tarts, though not from scratch.
Not the tidiest, but they were good.
With luck, the tree will go up this week. Sometimes, I think by the time it all gets put up it, it's time to take it down.
That hat will be a beauty, and colours for the season.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great hat pattern! Can I please have a mince tart or two.....or maybe three.....those small mitts are very cute.
ReplyDeleteI love mince tarts!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! I too am on a knitting binge -- a pair of socks, a pair of mittens and a cowl all on the needles. The mittens will be given away; I don't know about the others. Cute hat -- but are you really going to make the whole thing? Just curious. I'm a toque-no-pompom sort of hat knitter...
ReplyDeleteI guess that is the reason some people start putting up decorations in November! I like mine to stay up until 12th night though so like you are just putting them up now. I do love those double mitts and the little ones are cute. xx
ReplyDeleteMince pies, they look tasty! Beautiful mittens and hat. Hopefully the postal service will be back soon, up and running.
ReplyDeleteKnit gloves and hat. You're doing great.
ReplyDeleteI would like to come over and have a piece of cake with you with coffee or tea - I like both.
Happy Advent season to you.
