This isn't actually about my adorable kitties who end up on here often.
I finished a shawl, that I started back in September. I finished it on Sunday, casting most of it off during remote church.
Yesterday, I blocked it.
Sorry, I should have taken the picture from the other side so I didn't cast a shadow.
It is called "What's New Pussycat" by Jem Arrowsmith.
Off the blocking boards.
My kitties are a bit wonky. I struggled with purl 2 together through the back loops. I got it figured out for the ears.
Oh well, I think they are cute.
The yarn is Knit Picks Gloss Fingering. The beads are from my stash.
Okay, I couldn't resist.
Wow, totally adorable. Congrats on your talent and training.
ReplyDeleteWow, so really beautiful, but as always, I love the cats in reality.
ReplyDeleteLovely finish - the little cats in the lace are cute. xx
ReplyDeleteI love that stitch motif! Well done!
ReplyDeleteThat shawl is so cute! Purl 2 tog through the back loops is a struggle for me too.....I can't remember how I do it, but t's fudged a little. Good morning, Emme - it's a lovely morning here, just right for a kitty to curl up inside a big sunny window.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shawl! I can't wrap my head around purl two through the back of the loops...Your shawl makes me want to pull out the one I've been knitting on (and swearing at) for the past oh, four years!
