A Finish

I FINISHED the clutch wallet.

I need to work on the zipper pocket, for another one, but I am happy enough with this one.

Most of the fabric came from Mad About Patchwork. I went to visit Pam yesterday. She says she doesn't have those fabrics anymore, but I am sure you can find equally lovely fabrics to make the clutch. She also had the stabilizers I needed, to give it a really professional look.

I saw a definite sign that spring is on the way.  The temperatures here are still frigid, and today it is snowing again, but I saw this at the grocery store.

How can spring be far away, when the Peeps appear in the stores! These ones followed me home.

  1. What a sweet clutch, Kate. The accordion pockets make it so useful. I really like your lining fabric!

  3. Lovely clutch, and the closure, well done, Peeps, nothing like that down here, can get through Mighty-ape, but out of stock. Are the marshmallows, with an acidy taste? Like the old " Sherbet dabs" I bought way back in about 1954, with a real liquorice straw?

  5. Nicely done on the clutch and a great choice for the lining fabric (why go with a boring solid when there are such cool modern prints).

i am a fan of peeps. Will have to keep my eyes open for those ones.

Thanks for linking up with Needlework Tuesday.
