Today sort of passed me by with the special meaning, but on TVNZ this morning, a lovely man in the NZ Fire Service, proposed live to his beautiful (unsuspecting) lady, on his knee, and opened a box with a $15,000 diamond ring, and asked her to marry him. The ring was donated by Michael Hill Jewellers.The brave man entered and won the competition, and afterwards took her off on his motorbike, Romantic, absolutely.Public, definitely, a worthy winner, totally.Enjoy your day too, Cheers from Jean
Awwwww....your cookies look great! Did your Valentine appreciate them? I'm afraid I never got around to making any. I made sourdough waffles for breakfast though. Does that count?
